Megan Fox is officially part of the cast for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, lending her voice to the character Toy Chica in the upcoming horror sequel. The film, set in the eerie Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza — a haunted, animatronic-filled restaurant — is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5.
Fox joins a growing voice cast that includes YouTube star MatPat as Toy Bonnie and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy. Director Emma Tammi returns to helm the sequel, with Josh Hutcherson reprising his role as the troubled night security guard. Other returning cast members include Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio.
The first Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, based on the hit video game series, was a massive success. Released in October 2023, it earned $297 million worldwide and became Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film ever — despite launching simultaneously on Peacock.
The sequel’s tagline teases a darker tone: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.” The casting announcement was made during Jason Blum’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic-Con, where Blumhouse also previewed other upcoming projects like Black Phone 2, the video game Sleep Awake, and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
Megan Fox’s recent work includes starring opposite Michele Morrone in the thriller Subservience, appearing in Amazon’s comedy series Overcompensating, and roles in Till Death, Night Teeth, Big Gold Brick, and The Expendables 4.
Fans of the franchise — and of Fox — can expect a chilling new chapter when the animatronics return to the big screen this December.
